Rules and Regulations for State Level Inter school Robotics/ STEAM Competition

YantroTSAVA - 2022

1. The Competition is going to be held on 15^th December 2022.

2. Theme of the Competition: Robotics, Science and Technology(STEM Concepts).

3.. There can be 3 participants in the School Delegation. And every school can send up to 3 Delegations (Between age of 12 to 16 years).

4. The exhibit/model/project may be either a working model or an investigation based project related to the theme and may include

                ∙ Working model to explain a concept, principle or a process.                                                                       ∙ An Indigenous design of a machine/device.                                                                                                        ∙ An innovation/inexpensive design or technique.                                                                                             ∙ Application of basic principles of science/ technology.                                                                               ∙ Scheme/design of a device or machine to reduce production cost.                                      ∙ Investigation based study.                                                                                                                                          

5. Students will get a chance to explain their projects, all the accessories will be arranged by the Host School. Students will have to Display the Project at a stall specifically arranged for the same. Display board, extension board, Projector, laptop, drawing pins etc. should be arranged by the participating school team for displaying the Robotics/STEM Project at the display location only.                                                                                                                

6. The participating school will have to bear all the expenses of the participation. The Registration to this Inter-School Competition is free.      

7. Two copies of brief write-up about the exhibit/model/project should be prepared and presented at the time of registration.

8. The decision of the judges will be final. The exhibit/model/project will be assessed by the experts as per the following criteria.

(Weightage on knowledge, principle of project, problem solving and Technical skills more than on the complexity of the project)

∙ Student own creativity and imagination        20%    

∙ Technical skill/workmanship/craftsmanship     20% 

∙ Utility/educational value                          20%                                                        

∙ Presentation-explanation and demonstration      20%   

∙ Science thought/principle                                  20%

  9.       The student must have valid I-Cards.                                                                                                      10. Reporting time at the venue is 8:30 am.
